Rare opportunity to finish work by 6pm with shift meals included! Chamomile Café are currently looking for an experienced café/bistro/eatery chef to work in our small but very busy kitchen. We are open 7 days a week (daytime through to early evening) and so being able to work weekends is essential.
The café is an independently owned business that has been thriving for over 14 years with an excellent reputation and known as a food estination ( 5 star rating on Facebook and a high rating on other sites)). It has a very loyal customer base both local and visiting, business people and the students from the local College. We are known for our freshly made, delicious and quality breakfasts, lunches and weekend brunches as well as early dinners. We offer an excellent range of Gluten Free and Vegetarian options.
We are looking for professional, hard-working people with great personalities and a passion to learn and an enthusiasm to fit in with our team. Ideally you will be sociable, energetic and trustworthy and be able to on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
You must have a high level of personal hygiene and appearance.
You must be focused on exceptional food hygiene
You must have a passion for food creativity and food presentation
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Able to work under pressure as part of a group as well as alone with the KP.
Able to multi task and work at speed and stay calm
Must be fluent in English
Remuneration: competitive, depending on experience.
