Dear Candidate, we are a graphic design company. We have just moved into our Covent Garden office and look to grow our client base. We are Adobe certified and specialise in bespoke logo consultation and design. Our other design services include advertisement layouts and stationery design. General graphic design work undertaken.
This flexible 1-month position is unpaid, however, if you generate revenue in this month you will be sure to receive fair payment on each contract. We are happy to discuss remuneration options on interview.
We are looking for somebody who will put the client before everything else. Customer service must come first. Although this is a short-term position, you will be a brand ambassador and will act as so in any work undertaken in the company's name.
The nature of the work lends itself to putting in as many hours as is reasonably possible in business hours, contacting businesses and business owners. However, this could be a role for a couple of days a week, if that suits your study/lecture patterns or other commitments (or if you have experience and are looking for a foot in to a potential longer-term contract). May lead to a 5-month fixed-term paid contract as Business Development Manager/ess.
Correspondingly, while with us, you will have responsibility to work together with the director to increase awareness of the company, with a view to setting up some design contracts with the director's help. Moreover, you will need a high level of autonomy.
As mentioned, you will be a brand ambassador at client meetings and will be regularly dealing with CEOs, Marketing Managers and/or business owners. You will have the opportunity to create bonds.
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree or studying Management, Business Development, Design Management or similar, or relevant experience.
• Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in English grammar. You will be able to converse comfortably and confidently in English, fluently.
• Integrity.
• Confident and credible.
• Passion to do things properly and to the best endeavour.
• Acknowledgement of the influence of social media conversation, branding and ideally a passion for design, art, science or similar.
• Ability to think fast on the phone.
• Critical thinking.
• Positive outlook. Will try the impossible after thinking of it.
• Considerate to people from every walk of life.
Ideal:
• experience of business development.
• experience in design acquisition.
Desired:
• Master's degree in business, design acquisition and relevant success.
• Big client list.
