Full time Bartenders needed for immediate start at The Culpeper and our new site - The Green Clerkenwell.
We are looking for experienced bartenders for immediate start, a passion for beer (Keg, Cask and Craft) making and creating cocktails, working with natural wines and love being in a buzzing bar environment to join our rapidly growing team and company.
The Culpeper opened the pub after extensive redevelopment in June 2014, since then the pub has become extremely popular for locals and Londoners from far and wide alike. Last March we opened our first floor restaurant, The Culpeper Kitchen. The Kitchen has been a roaring success since opening and continues to go from strength to strength. In April we opened 5 en suite bedrooms for which we are pretty much fully booked. At the same time we re-opened our lovely rooftop bar, grill and garden.
Its an amazing and exiting time for us and we are looking for strong people to contribute to our continued growth.
Bartenders should have strong and varied drinks knowledge with the ability to make classic cocktails. Mid to head bartenders should have a broader awareness of drink recipes, with their own recipes to bring to the table. Above all else, each candidate should love making drinks, interacting with customers and spending their evenings behind the bar. The ability to pick up new recipes quickly is a must as our offering is always changing according to seasonality, supply and team development.
Our cocktail menus changes often, and each bartender at our bar has the opportunity to submit their own recipes. We are constantly in search of bartenders who can bring new ideas and interesting stories behind their drinks, regardless of whether they have been tending bar for one year or 15 years.
The pub is open daily from 11am and closes at midnight Monday to Thursday, 2am friday and Saturday and 11pm Sunday. We have capacity in the pub for 190 so nights are vibrant busy and fast-paced. All applicants should be confident that they can work into the wee hours with a smile on their face, bashing out great cocktails and drinks for everyone who walks through the door. Our food offering is a huge part of our business so a keen interest and desire to learn about food is required.
Within the company we are rapidly growing and are dedicated to training and promoting from within the company. Each bartender will have the opportunity to grow through the ranks and be first in line to be considered for any of our new openings or current openings.
The opportunity is for full time, experienced and passionate individuals. 45-50 hours per week, great pay and a 100% equal share in Service charge and gratuity from both the pub and restaurant. 2 doubles and 3 singles(morning or evening) a week, with plenty of extra available if desired.
The company has grown rapidly over the last 24 months and has just opened it's third site, this means very really and achievable opportunities for the best team members.
