We are looking for a Bar Manager to lead our bar team within a modern Levantine cuisine restaurant in central London. We are open 7 days per week serving lunch, dinner and breakfast on Saturdays.
The Bar Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the bar service. Ensuring that every guest is greeted and served promptly and in accordance with the Arabica’s standard.
The Bar Manager working alongside the founder, general manager and MW Sarah Abbot to implement new wine lists as well as to create new seasonal cocktails, this person will also be fully responsible for hitting all beverage cost and labour cost budgets.
The Bar manager is also responsible for the compliance with the legal sale of alcohol to every guest through their own actions of through actions of the other bar staff.
You will have an excellent all round knowledge of all beverages particularly wines.

Responsibilities
• Greeting and serving each guest in accordance with the company standard
• Ensuring all departing guests do so in accordance with the company standard and premises license regulations
• Preparing the bar area prior to each shift
• The security of the bar stock on a daily basis, reporting any irregularities to the General Manager
• Maintaining and creating cocktails, special drinks, wines and in conjunction with the General Manager and founder
• Ensuring all staff are present, dressed according to the company standards and directed in their duties prior to, throughout and at the end of each shift
• Maintaining the training and coaching of all bar staff
• Developing the training programs in conjunction with the General Manager
• Ensuring that any feedback from customers is responded to in an appropriate manner
• Providing a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all times
• All monies collected and paid out during each shift and for ensuring accurate accounting procedures are followed
• Maintaining adequate stock levels of beverages and non-food items associated with the bar service
• To ensure all bar staff rotas are completed within the required timeframe and each shift is adequately staffed
The Ideal Candidate:
• A proven track record
• Be required to manage and motivate a team
• Tasks include HACCP procedures, Human Resources knowledge
• A strong passion for food and beverage and the industry
• Inspiration to work with the founder to create new drinks
• would have completed WSET level 2 in wine and spirits
Salary and Benefits: Up to £28 000 Per Annum Depending on experience
• Full Time Position consisting of 48 hours per week
