We are a busy, lively family with two boys - aged 9 and 11 - who are very energetic , love the outdoors, swimming, being on their bikes and playing together. Myself and my husband have full time jobs so we need someone kind, caring and fun to look after them in our absence. They are bundles of energy so you too will need to be energetic and have a 'can-do' attitude. Ideally the role would suit someone who has a younger brother and knows how to handle young boys.
We live in Streatham which is 25 minutes from central london by train. Our eldest boy will be going to a new secondary school from September and the younger one to school a few miles from home so he will need collecting after school. Some days he will have after school clubs , others not. The boys are pretty independent but would need meals preparing for them and homework to be supervised. Sometimes you would also need to put them to bed.
Your main tasks would be to drop/collect either of the boys from school or after school clubs, take them home safely by public transport. You would need to supervise homework so a good working knowledge of english is vital. You would also need to be able to make tasty dinners and look after them until myself or my husband come home. Other than that, we would like you to keep the house tidy and do some laundry.
In the mornings you need to supervise the boys as they get ready for school, which means breakfast and then getting them their uniform and helping them get their bags ready. You would be free during the day to take english lessons if you like as pick up is not till post 3pm. During the week, we would ask you to babysit two nights, including one night at the weekend.
