The CLF Art Cafe / Bussey Building are looking for a new Assistant General Manager.
We are a 4-floor warehouse, hosting club nights, theatre productions, live gigs and private functions.
The ideal candidate for the job will be comfortable managing large teams in a fast-paced environment.
You should have a minimum of 2 years management experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high volume and capacity wet led (ideally music orientated) venue.
The role involves:
Running and being responsible for all aspects of the business on a day to day basis.
Leading, directing and motivating all members of staff.
Managing and running events. Recruiting staff, managing staff rotas and staffing costs.
Facilities management.
Opening and closing, cash up procedures Liaising with and confidently managing a large security team.
Spotting areas for improvement, checking on consistency and standards, and dealing with non-performance.
Knowledge of how events are booked and ideas on how to bring in new business.
Ensure compliance with regards to H and S;, COSHH and Fire legislation.
Ensure the planning and execution of established safety, security, quality, and club operations policies, procedures and practices.
