The Job Role:
Duck and Waffle are looking for a dynamic Assistant Bar Manager to join the very successful team as we continue to grow. Ultimately, we are looking for those who are extremely passionate about food and can offer an uncompromisable guest service.
The Assistant Bar Manager is responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in supervising and leading all aspects of the Beverage Program. The focus will be on Staff Training and Scheduling, Beverage Quality and Cost Control, Operational procedures, and Beverage Inventory and Purchasing.
The Ideal Candidate:
• At least 4 years of Beverage experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity required
• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
• experience as a successful salesperson in a fast pace service environments a plus
• Certifications as required to comply with government regulations and health codes, i.e, food safety and alcohol awareness, alcohol certification, etc.
• Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday - Sunday
• Being deeply respectful of diversity and individuality
