This company is a modern Building Services and Construction company established for over 15 years, and with offices throughout The South they provide construction services into numerous sectors including health, commercial, retail, education and government buildings.
Due to their continued expansion we are seeking an experienced administrator, with second to none customer services skills to join their Electricals division.
Responsibilities
Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company procedures.
Dealing with telephone and e mail enquiries.
Creating and maintaining filing systems
Scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes.
Organising travel and accommodation for staff.
Letter writing, keeping diaries and arranging appointments.
Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
Devising and maintaining office systems and databases.
Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts.
Organising and sending outgoing post
Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer based information.
Photocopying, scanning and printing various documents.
Preparation of quotes, tenders and project reports for Management.
Requirements
Good use and understanding of Microsoft packages – Excel, Word and Adobe.
Basic principles of electrical knowledge is desirable in a candidate.
Office based role in the electrical industry, working alongside Contract Managers to produce Health and Safety documents, support electrical certifications and produce O and M manuals.
Strong organisational skills
Presentation skills and attention to detail.
The ability to plan your own work, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines.
The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
Oral and written communication skills
A pleasant, confident telephone manner
Reliability and honesty
Hours will be Mon – Fri 8am-4pm
20 Days holiday + bank holidays + Pension.
