We’re looking for a junior recruiter to join the team here at Searchlight.

THE COMPANY
Searchlight offers Recruitment and Executive Search services to the Media and Entertainment industry. Our client portfolio includes all of the major film studios, TV broadcasters, production and distribution companies as well as many new and exciting digital media companies.
The ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity to train as a recruitment consultant within a busy boutique agency. Initially you will be using our in-house database to identify suitable candidates for the roles we’re handling, and researching and resourcing suitable candidates via online methods.
You’ll liaise with candidates and clients to schedule interviews, and ensure candidate records are kept up to date.
As your experience grows, you will then start handling recruitment assignments yourself and start building your own client base.
The PERSON
To be successful in this role you will need to have a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of people.
Previous experience in a client-facing sales role would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary, as long as you’re outgoing and tenacious, and would genuinely enjoy developing your own clients.
A genuine interest in, and understanding of the television and film industry would be extremely helpful.
It’s also important that you have strong administration skills and are extremely competent at Microsoft office (email / Word / Excel).
