About Us
Gail’s is a neighbourhood bakery, specialising in craft bread. We bake using natural ingredients and plenty of time. We believe that every community should be able to enjoy good bread and we serve world-class, handmade food our customers enjoy. We are also coffee obsessed and serve our own blend of specialty coffee, some of the best in town.
We all share a passion for baking and for its role in every community. We are committed to creating a world-class experience around food quality, our shop environment and customer service.
The Role
As a Team Leader, you’re a key support member to the success of your bakery. You’ll be confident in opening and closing the bakery, motivating and leading the team when on shift and taking ownership of the bakery in the absence of the Bakery Manager and Assistant Manager.
Specifically…
You’ll fill your bakery with beautifully displayed, fresh food.
You’ll make sure your whole team knows all about our products, inside and out – and shares this with our customers.
You’ll champion our values – care around baking, the community, each other and a job well done.
You’ll make sure our customers feel well cared for.
You’ll keep our bakery beautiful, at the highest standards.
You’ll make sure everything is working as it should, liaising with your manager and our support resources when required to troubleshoot issues.
You’ll be keen to follow up on details, including health and safety regulations.
You’ll drive a happy team and be active in creating an open learning environment.
