Support Worker Corus Consultancy are recruiting for a Support Worker for one our clients in North London. This role involves working with Adults who have both mental and physical disabilities, some of the people have profound disabilities, so the successful candidate will need to be experienced with dealing with people with extreme disabilities.The person that we are looking for will need to be passionate, talented, skilled and experienced with the way that you look after people, the care that our client provides is diverse and complex as the needs of the people that they care for vary.The successful candidate will need to be driven from their core values about care for others.You will be helping with the day to day activities so the services users, this will include: * Bathing * Getting ready for the day- Getting Dressed and Changing * Getting around * Travelling with them if there are day trips. * Teaching about Budgeting, as you will be helping them with their finances. What you will need: * At least 2 years experience * Knowledge of key legislation relating to Health and Safety in the work place. * Knowledge of person centred plans * Must be Flexible and Adaptable * Must be able to build relationships * Enhanced DBS * NVQ 2/3Training in: * Moving and Handling (practical and theory) * 1st Aid Awareness * Hoist Trained Must have up to date mandatory training, however if you don't have we can help you obtain these certificates if you don't.We are offering weekdays and weekend's shifts both Days and Nights, Minimum of 3 days a week, you will need to be available for a minimum of 20-25 hours a week.The hourly rate is between £8.80- £10.50
