Megan's is an all-day dining restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In the morning, we serve breakfast's like: eggs Benedict, avocado on toast, granola (etc.), smoothies, juices and quality coffees. Over lunch we have daily chef made salads and quiches (think Ottolenghi, Baker and Spice). Come the evening we serve delicious kebabs, baked eggs and stone baked pizzas. If you want a Michelin star look elsewhere, we pride ourselves on serving homely food with fantastic neighbourly service.
With our original Megan’s Chelsea location becoming highly successful we are currently recruiting for our new location down the road in beautiful Parsons Green. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the management team and support the AM and GM in the day to day running of this diverse business. To be considered for this role candidates should come from a strong food-led background and have exposure to volume and quality. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop a team to ensure consistent service standards and have an engaging and warm personality.
The potential candidate would have:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of busy all day restaurants/cafés (we have a busy daytime takeaway trade as well as the full restaurant offer).
• experience running a restaurant/café and leading shifts on their own.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to make decisions, plan and be pro active.
• experience in training and a desire to develop others.
• experience in back office hospitality e.g. Rota’s, cashing up, ordering.
• Hardworking, motivated, efficient, fast, hands on, personable, thorough with attention to detail and a thirst for perfection.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
