Since launching on street food markets in 2014, Crosstown’s growth has been swift and strong. We have built an organic and loyal following by embodying a strong appreciation for quality produce and sharing this with our customers, as well as a focus on providing warm and welcoming hospitality. We pride ourselves on hand making our doughnuts from scratch 365 days of the year and using only the best ingredients.
Our retail team is imperative for carrying the core values of Crosstown and being able to convey these to our customers. We are currently a tight-knit retail team of 45 in a company of 80 employees. Despite being diverse, our staff have some key values in common; They are independent, intuitive, passionate, and enthusiastic. A lot of trust and responsibility is bestowed upon our staff and they are encouraged to approach their role in innovative and creative ways.
We are currently looking for experienced supervisors to lead shifts in our stores across London. You will aim to create the 'Crosstown experience' for all customers. This will be achieved by the following;
You provide great service consistently, for all customers. Even under pressure and during busy rushes, you are friendly, informative and patient. You are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the product and help your customers build a connection with Crosstown by sharing the company’s values and goals with them.
Using digitalised procedures, you are able to maintain high standards of day-to-day upkeep in your store and have great attention to detail. You take initiative and don’t need to be guided through a daily shift.
You are trustworthy, honest and hard working. Your attention to detail and transparency when handling cash, carrying out cash ups and undertaking other administrative roles will be vital.
You have great phone etiquette and are able to deal with queries, which are not purely transactional. This might include wholesale or corporate enquiries, bespoke requests, and complaints.
You can are in-tune with equipment needs of your store and can advise managers on orders when they are not in-store.
You’re able to manage your peers and, while maintaining a fun and enjoyable environment, you can correct mistakes or provide constructive feedback.
