We are looking for a flexible and strong manager. The perfect candidate would ideally come from a retail background, with a track record of exceeding sales targets, managing teams and going the extra mile at delivering outstanding customer service.

We are a young, fashionable and rapidly growing footwear company based in premium London locations specialising in genuine leather shoes.

Candidate Requirements:

• Retail experience desirable but must have experience in a customer facing environment together with an excellent track record of achieving sales targets and high customer satisfaction.
• Must be a genuine enthusiasm for the leather products we sell, showing a commitment and passion for the brand.
• Must have excellent communication skills, proven ability to manage staff, delegate tasks efficiently and be a role model for the companies values and principles.
• Must have financial awareness of budgets, margins, KPI’s and operating costs and driving staff to achieve targets.
• Must have ability to resolve problems, stay calm under pressure, make decisions and motivate people to follow through.
• Strong business analytical skills and the ability to analyse selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business.
• Proficient in windows-based software such as excel, word and outlook.

Responsibilities:
• To maximize sale performance using your unique managerial style. It includes managing, coaching, supporting, training and inspiring your staff to drive the sales.
• To maximize sale performance using already developed KPI’s and targets ensuring that staff is motivated to exceed these.
• To ensure the company’s visual standards are upheld at all times, including operational tasks performed on time, staff are always presentable, shifts are effectively planned.
• To recruit, train and develop teams, set standards, KPI’s and targets and review staff performance on a regular basis.
• To manage daily activity of the sales floor, creative daily plans to increase sales, discounts, lead by example, etc.
• To deal with customer complaints/staff disputes in a fair and impartial manner, monitor stock loss, non performance, dismissal.
• Development of store, driving initiatives that build repeat business or that attracts a new customer.
• Perform annual performance evaluations with quarterly review of employee goals.
• Achieve financial success through improvement of measurable statistics that positively impact the store performance.

Promotional opportunities:
The right candidate will have opportunities to be promoted to Senior Management to include responsibilities as follows:
• Supporting the achievement of company’s expansion plans, opening new stores, new product development.
• Helping hire new Junior Managers for new locations, developing them, improving training programs, improving branding, developing creative strategies.
• Ensuring business goals and strategic projects are delivered on time.
