We are looking for an enthusiastic SOUS CHEF for our FARRINGDON restaurant
Vinoteca is a small independent group of restaurants which combine high quality, characterful wine with a highly seasonal modern European menu - crafted from the finest British and European produce
This is a very hands on role that involves producing everything from raw ingredients - we even bake our own bread daily. You will work in a small team led by our Head Chef.
There are real opportunities to learn and develop as we grow our brand, and we offer a great work/life balance with good rates of pay
- Our chefs work up to 48 hours per week over 5 days
- 28 days full paid holiday
- Staff meals on duty and wine training (if it's something that interests you)
- Generous staff discount scheme on meals and wine
- Sundays off
- Closed Bank Holidays and over Christmas and New Year
Ideal candidates
- Are passionate about food and love to cook for others every day
- Are competent cooks and have experience preparing food from raw ingredients
- Want to progress further in their career, to learn and grow with us
- Are reliable and enjoy being an active part of a team
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in the kitchen
