IMMEDIATE START
We are currently looking to recruit a sous chef to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen at a smoke house/restaurant.
The key responsibilities will include:
• To assist the head chef in the running of the kitchen to meet all expected standards and targets
• To deputize in the head chef’s absence
• Ensure quality of presentation and consistency in food whilst meeting service timings
• Must have a thorough understanding of current food hygiene, health and safety legislation required to uphold food safety procedures.
Ideal candidate
We are recruiting for a hard-working Sous Chef who has the drive to enhance their own careers. You should be passionate about fresh produce and be keen to learn more about new preparation and cooking techniques.
* experience as a Sous Chef for at least 1 year
* Drive and ambition to progress your career and develop junior team
* Confidence and ability to successfully lead a kitchen team in the Head Chefs absence
