The role of a Big Easy Sous Chef:
We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chefs to join our growing business. Our high profile restaurants, serve authentic BBQ with an emphasis on quality ingredients and ‘homestyle’ cooking. As our Sous Chef your main responsibilities will be to ensure exceptional standards and quality of each dish is delivered and guest expectations exceeded every time.
About you:
To become successful Big Easy Sous Chef you should have the ability to remain cool under pressure, and work at a fast pace whilst demonstrating exceptional attention to detail ensuring that every dish is perfect. In addition you will have an underlying passion for cooking, making sure that the highest possible standards are delivered every time, so that people want to come back time and time again. You will have previous experience as a Sous Chef within a high profile, fast paced restaurant
Main Duties As a Big Easy Sous Chef
·To manage, develop and motive a large kitchen team
·To ensure the quality and freshness of all dishes leaving the
·Purchasing and receiving, including liaising with suppliers on quality and quantity
·Control food cost, usage and carry out accurate stock take
·Ensure daily, weekly and monthly administration is completed to standard
