Due to be beautifully refurbished with a large new garden and an art deco charm. The pub will offer a fresh vibrant seasonally changing in house designed grill menu alongside a large selection of locally sourced craft beer. You’re an inspiring individual who thrives on developing people. You will work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to create a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team.
You will…
- Be passionate about delicious, exciting and fresh food
- Be a firm believer in using fresh and local market produce
- Have experience in negotiating with suppliers and driving quality, and strengthening relationships.
- Hold regular team meetings and training sessions, ensuring the whole team are a part of, and understand the big and small goals every day.
- Demonstrate great planning and organisation skills.
- Able to cost dishes, manage to a labour target, manage food profit margins
- Ensure HACCAP and all legal documents are accurate and up to date.
- Be able to ensure staffing levels are correct and wage target is achieved.
As a Sous Chef you will receive excellent support, but have freedom to make your mark on this exciting new business.
Salary = £26k-30k (negotiable) plus competitive bonus scheme, live-out, employee benefits scheme.
