Sous chef
Fish! Restaurant in the heart of bubbly Borough market is now looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.
Ideally you be classically trained with a proven and progressive cv.
We are looking for a Sous chef who can work 7 shifts over 5 days, with a flexible Rota averaging 45 hours per week.

Our concept is simple: providing our customers with the best quality fish, cooked in front of you, in simple and classic ways. Since 1999 our focus has never changed, quality and responsible sourcing is still our main concern… we just look a bit more fancier now! "
We have had a complete refurbishment in January 2021 with a new kitchen.

What do you need?

Previous experience as a Sous chef working in a similar high end, fast pace kitchen environment will be an advantage.
You will need to be of a calm disposition combined with the ability to work and communicate under pressure in this busy and friendly environment.

Have a good personality
You need to possess the:

-Passion and desire to deliver food of the highest standards.
-Be able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team.
-Be a clear communicator and enjoy being part of that team.
-Have a knowledge of food hygiene with the ability share it.

Strong command of English is essential
