We are looking for an experienced and responsible chef to join our team with the aim of eventually running our new opening next year.  If you fancy a new challenge or want to test yourself this job is for you.

The candidate must have:
At least four years experience working in commercial kitchens.
experience working with seafood and fish.
The ability to write their own menus and create dishes.
Excellent time keeping.
Enjoy working independently.
Self Motivation.
Fluent English.

London Shell Co. Is a fantastic seafood restaurant on a cruising boat in Paddington.  We are open Tuesday to Sunday and serve an a la Carte menu midweek lunch menu, Tuesday to Friday statically in Paddington.  The restaurant then cruises from Paddington to Camden Town and back in the evenings and for Saturday and Sunday lunch.  Cruising menus consist of a set five courses and Saturday's can be very demanding shifts.
The restaurant has been favourably reviewed by Jay Rayner, Fay Maschler and Michael Deacon.  We are currently rated within the top 20 restaurants in London on Tripadvisor and have a lot of return custom.  Next year we are opening an second site, which will be an all day dining restaurant with an a la Carte menu.
This is position is for someone to come in and learn our style of food before ideally opening the new site and running that.  Our fish is amongst the freshest in London.  We use the best suppliers we can and create dishes that are both classic and contemporary.  If you like working with fantastic ingredients and working with a changing menu everyday, please get in touch.
Pay We can offer very competitive rates of pay.  We also have service charge which is split amongst a small team.
