Looking for a strong Sous Chef to join an exciting, new, 80 cover restaurant opening up in December.
We will be serving up Modern British with plenty of international influences. We have a brand new kitchen with Robata Grill and you will be working under an inspiring Head Chef and with the best ingredients.
The restaurant is located in Central London, Notting Hill, just off Portobello Road. 184 will be open from breakfast through to dinner.
The ideal sous chef will have proven cooking experience of at least 2 1/2 years with a good knowledge and real passion for food.
• You will be comfortable cooking fish and meat on a grill and also producing cutting edge plant-based dishes.
• experience with some of the following would be an advantage: international ingredients, grill section, the patisserie section and breakfast dishes.
• You will be in charge of managing the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
• You will be motivated and hard-working

• You will be working closely with the head chef to ensure a smooth-running and happy kitchen. Team building, mentoring and training will be a big part of the job.

The salary is from £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
