Forge are working with a fantastic contract caterer to recruit a Sous Chef for a high profile site in Canary Wharf.
The site offers a plated bistro style service to the 1400 people on site. The clientele is from a diverse background across Europe and are very knowledgeable and passionate about their food hence the quality of the produce is excellent.
The role is predominantly focused on the staff restaurant with a small hospitality offer.
The Sous Chef will work very closely with the Head Chef to deliver a quality food offer throughout.
Responsibilities will include:
- Staff training and development
- Menu development
- Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- Managing stocks and orders
We want to hear from experienced Sous Chefs or Sr CDP's looking for the next step in their careers.
Sous Chefs should have experience working in quality environments to high volume and be comfortable leading a team of 9.
Salary: up to £31k
Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
