Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 pa
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 7 Shifts (Close Sun PM)

Closed Sunday PM and over Christmas and NY
Role Description
Working closely with the Head chef and Owner Manager, responsibilities include:
Daily smooth running of the kitchen (deputising in the Head chef’s absence) and support to Head Chef in all areas of kitchen management….
Daily menu planning and costings
Team direction and organisation, maintaining food quality and service standards
Stock control and ordering; supplier relations and invoices; stock auditing helping maintain General Practitioner target consistently
Team training, setting standards, assisting with recruitment
Kitchen paperwork and compliance files and procedures
Head chef: collaborative, modern kitchen management style – fine dining / Michelin star background – strong mentoring / coaching approach

Desired Attributes
This would suit a creative, confident chef with experience at Jnr / Sous chef level in a comparable kitchen operation.
Good knowledge of current food trends; passion to work with high quality, seasonal produce supported by good organisation, communication and team training skills.
Salary and Benefits
£28,000 – £30,000 basic start salary pa
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period; regular salary reviews; courses as required; excellent ongoing development and mentorship; 28 days paid annual leave; workplace pension; staff discounts and FAM trips; team excursions
7 shifts / 5 days – closed Sunday PM (Christmas and NY)
Immediate start available / able to accommodate notice
