Site Managers
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join a well established design and build company based in the heart of Canary Wharf, London. The majority of our projects are domestic extension and renovation work within the London area for developers and private clients.
We’re looking for talented Site Managers to run small residential construction projects across London and the Home Counties, involving the installation of pre-built systems. To succeed in this role, candidates must have excellent time management skills in order to meet strict deadlines. To do this, they must be able to recruit and effectively manage a skilled, disciplined team and ensure thorough compliance with all relevant legislation. All candidates must have a valid SMSTS and CSCS card.
Skills and experience
• A proven ability to deliver small construction projects on schedule
• Effective people management and good communication skills
• The ability to work at heights
• At least five years of industry experience
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Must be willing to travel to sites throughout London and the Home Counties
• Previous experience working on Loft conversion projects is desirable
Responsibilities
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
• Ensuring the project meets expected standards and passes inspection
• Delivering each stage of the project on time
• Managing the day to day operations of the construction site
• Assembling and managing a skilled, professional team
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of work to ensure high standards
• Ensuring any remedial work required is completed quickly and thoroughly
• Coordinating with our office team
• Representing us as the main point of contact for site-related queries from our clients and others
• Maintaining the company’s reputation when dealing with clients, external stakeholders and members of the public, and ensuring the good conduct of on-site team
Qualifications:
• SMSTS
• CSCS (Black/White)
• First Aid
Salary
Starting from £35,000, depending on experience.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
