BAO are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Senior Chef de Partie, to join the team at their popular Soho restaurant. You will be a charismatic leader, able to motivate and inspire the team, and be responsible for producing outstanding dishes, using fresh local ingredients and innovative recipes, which wow our guests.
Recently awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, BAO serves innovative Asian dishes in an informal, fast-paced setting.
BAO specialises in ‘Xiao chi’ small snacks and ‘bao’ steamed milk buns, each individually made to a secret recipe the Trio have spent years developing. The menus feature “Xiao Chi” – small eats – and a selection of sharing dishes.

The successful candidate will;
 Be a creative and experienced Chef de Partie;
 Be a personable, motivated and enthusiastic team player;
 Have excellent attention to detail;
 Be passionate about food and hospitality;
 Have previous experience in or knowledge of Asian cuisine (beneficial);
 Be continually willing to learn new skills and develop;
 Be comfortable working in an open kitchen, where you are visible to restaurant customers.
