We are recruiting for a February 2022 start the role of Senior Account Manager. Our Senior Account Managers are responsible for effectively manage and developing a client territory and revenue across a combination of new and established accounts.
Candidates should be able to effectively resource and develop new staff and maintain current staff pool to satisfy client demand and seasonal requirements.
Candidates should be experienced in working to quarterly targets and effective P and L; control. You will need to manage a support team and support functions, over which you will take line manager responsibility. The role of Senior Account Managers report to the company Directors.
The following information details the general requirements and responsibilities of the role.
Clients/Commercial
Maintaining and growing a pool of clients.
Understanding and managing target General Practitioner %.
Managing charge rates.
Managing event diary and future client requests.
Engaging clients for feedback and development opportunities.
Ensuring clients and our teams work to deliver a safe and healthy operating environment and be an active contributor to the company H and S; strategy.
Resourcing
Responsible for maintaining a pool of staff to meet and exceed the demands of client requests.
Overall responsibility for managing the booking and engagement of staff.
Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of work and adherence to company standards.
Responsible for evaluating staff probation.
Development
Overall responsibility for the training and development of staff to meet immediate and forecast business.
Working with the Recruitment and Training team to recruit, assess and engage new staff to meet requirements.
Financial
Management of P and L; account for each client.
Sales targets set each quarter by Directors.
Event by event KPIs to include profitability measure.
Person Specification
The ability to multi-task, prioritise and drive projects forward to meet deadlines.
Ability to create strong and effective working relationships with all skill sets, departments and levels.
A clear communicator, able to adapt with sensitivity to different working styles, but can be assertive when necessary.
Takes ownership of personal actions and outcomes and ensures others do the same.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in deadline driven situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
