Your responsibilities as a Security Officer will include:
- Ensure that the hotel provides our guests and fellow team members with a safe and secure environment for them whilst they stay/work with us
- Help to facilitate an environment where suspicious behaviour/packages are dealt with efficiently
- Reacting proactively to any guest complaints
- Adhere to the hotel and Park Plaza Hotels corporate guidelines and service concepts
The ideal Security Officer will:
- Be able to differentiate between different guest types and in-house guests
- Pro-active team player who easily connects with others.
- Ability/experience in patrolling all areas of a hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations
- experience in monitoring CCTV and security alarm systems
- Confident in assisting in any fire or other emergency situation
- Able to deal with changing priorities and work demands
- Previous security experience
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
- Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure
- Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
