As a Security Officer / Guard, you will report to the Operations Manager. You will carry out regular check of the site in order to identify, report and deal with, any situations which could compromise security. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas are safe and secure, whilst providing a consistently high level of customer service. You will maintain professional and courteous presence on site and in the public areas, and will build and maintain co-operative working relationships with the team, Client, Customers and the Public.

What do we look for (required criteria)?
Frontline SIA trained and licensed
experience in a Security environment
Hold a valid visa/right to work in the UK documentation.
Have a 5 years’ checkable work history (in accordance to the British Standard 7858)
Good communication skills
A fair and consistent approach
Articulate and well-presented
Able to manage difficult situations
Real passion for first class customer service.
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations.
Ensure our customers receive the best possible value for their spend.
Flexibility with regards to work hours to meet the demands of the Business.

What you will be doing on the job?

Regular Report Writing, Liaison between the team and the client and head office, Door Supervision, Staff Search, Random Searches, TAG detector procedures, Risk Assessment, Fire Drills, Alarm Checks, immaculate customer services, deterrent and apprehension of offenders, liaisons with emergency services.

There are a variety of permanent Part-time and Full-Time positions. This post requires shift work including evenings and night working, the roster also includes Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, so you need to be flexible as you may be called at short notice to cover a shift. Permanent position is subject to successful security screening/vetting.
