We are a well established and rapidly growing fast food company in England and we are currently looking for experienced Sales Assistants. You will be a vital team member offering support to the management team.
Your role is to combine your skills and passion for sales and purchasing with your customer service techniques in order to attract and retain customers and suppliers. You will be proactive, organised and driven to achieve goals. With a detailed understanding of our products, the local market and how best to achieve your assigned targets. This is the opportunity for a problem solver who thinks inside and outside of the box, someone who is a great team player and has excellent communication skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Deciding what goods, services and equipment are needed
• Monitoring and forecasting stock levels
• Researching and identifying new products and suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them.
• Negotiating prices and agreeing contracts.
• Keeping up with market trends.
• Assessing tenders from potential suppliers.
• Making sure that suppliers deliver on time.
• Processing payments and invoices.
• Producing computerised reports of sales and order information and sending copies to the director and Warehouse manager.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via site visits, telephone calls and emails.
• Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale. Also advising customers about new products or promotions that are relevant to their needs or preferences
• Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers
• Representing Tops Pizza/Tops Suppliers at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
The remuneration package is very attractive and is dependent on your skills and experience.
