Sales Assistant:
A French Bakery and Café is looking for a competitive retail Sales Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. Sales assistant duties include selling, promoting,   restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
Responsibilities:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
Maintain a fully stocked store
Arranging window display
Advising and serving customers
Providing customers with information on pricing and product availability.
Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
Promote products inside and outside of shop.
Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
Welcome and greet customers
Manage point-of-sale processes
Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments.
Keep up to date with product information
Accurately describe product features and benefits.
Answering queries from customers.
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
Attaching price Tags to products on the shop floor.
Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Follow all companies policies and procedures.

Requirements

Having a friendly and engaging personality.
Comfortable working with members of the public.
Should have a confident manner.
Must be helpful and polite.
Assistants will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift amounts of stock.
Able to work as part of a sales team.
Knowledge of inventory techniques.
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
Proficiency in English
Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
