Sales Administrator Role- Job Description

With a National portfolio of over 21 Universities and leading private accommodation providers, the Company is seeking to build on its success by expanding its services opening up new offering for full FM support. This has created a need for a Sales Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the sales team to secure new business and generate revenue. They should be commercially astute, have excellent written skills and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, as well as other relevant IT skills.

ROLE
We are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our sales team and help us achieve our goals. You will serve as a point of contact for our sales team to execute plans for marketing, tender and bid writing, keeping the CRM up to date and supporting the team to ensure they meet their deadlines
Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of creative writing and excellent customer service skills. If you have exceptional organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you!
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and achieving sales targets. This is an opportunity to grow into a more senior role in the future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process orders via email or phone
Check data accuracy in the CRM
Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
Answer customer queries and calls
Maintain and update sales and customer records
Develop monthly sales reports
Communicate important feedback from customers internally
Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations
Stay up-to-date with new products and features
Help sales team prepare bids using the tender library
Carry out extensive market research into opportunities
Assist the team with daily sales/admin tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Good A-Levels
C or higher in GCSE Maths and English
Proven work experience as a sales administrator or sales support agent
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
A team player with high level of dedication
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Ability to work independently
Able to share innovative ideas
You must be flexible to work overtime on days when sales team is working towards deadlines.
