Retail Manager -  £25,000 + a quarterly bonus scheme.
London’s most exciting tourist attraction in central London is looking for a Retail Manager to replace a recently promoted member of staff of over 6 years taking control and management of our retail offering at The London Bridge experience and Tombs.
We’re looking for an individual with experience and knowledge in retail, ideally within the tourism sector however general retail will be considered.  The position will be managing and controlling the gift shop and retail unit within this top award winning attraction. The individual needs to have the ability to hit the ground running taking instant responsibility for the growth and development of sales, identifying new product lines, developing supplier relations and developing a successful retail operations team.
Other duties for this individual will include the supporting of the current Duty Management team and taking an active role within the Duty Management of the site. This will include being involved in complaint management, site incidents and the encouragement of staff to hit daily targets along with supporting and helping in the general smooth running of the site. The individual needs to have the ability to hit the ground running taking instant responsibility for the growth and development of the business and operation.
As a dynamic company we would expect all staff at both senior and junior levels to roll up their sleeves and show a willingness to jump in and get involved be it changing a light bulb or welcoming celebrity guests.
Required skills

experience of managing and developing a retail outlet.
experience of controlling and training staff.
Knowledge of pricing and how to generate maximum revenue.
Knowledge of using an EPOS based till system.
experience or working within the tourism sector would be beneficial.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours depending upon staffing, weekend work will be involved.
