Finns of Chelsea is a long established gourmet food and catering business with a small friendly and nbsp; cafe and and nbsp;gift store. We make all the food and nbsp;we sell from the kitchens behind the shop each day and have a very carefully chosen line of gifts for the table or the home which is growing fast and now online. The main ingredient we are looking for someone to run the shop and manage the assistants. You must take great pride in and nbsp;the gift shelves, the food cabinets and the presentation of everything we sell. I envisage someone with an eye for colour and a flair and interest in keeping the gourmet food dishes replenished , varied and always mindful of the impression that counters and shelves give the customer at all times of the day. It is equally important that you and nbsp;take pleasure in displaying the gifts we sell, changing the shelf displays by colour , season or theme to catch the eye and promote the different lines sourced and nbsp; and nbsp;from all over the world and and nbsp; I would like to think someone right for this role would enjoy this element of it and have the creativity and flair to see this as a very nice part of the job. We have and nbsp; a new online gift section and part of the role is to handle and fulfil and nbsp; the online orders and nbsp; and keep the stock levels just right. And nbsp; and nbsp;You may go to some of the gift shows and trade fairs with the Directors where we buy our gifts and you will have a real voice in what we choose to sell. And nbsp; Many customers seek advice on wedding presents , Christmas and birthday presents and things to work well in their own homes and they love your help and guidance in making decisions. And nbsp; and nbsp; We have 4 and nbsp;small tables and table service for coffee, lunches and tea and nbsp;and it is important that you are friendly and interested in our customer's lives. Many have been coming into FInns for over 25 years and we are valued for the charm of our staff and the care an interest we take in our customers. The customers like to be able to discuss their menus or their parties as much as they do seek advice on the perfect present or table styling for themselves. There is a lot of customer contact guiding and nbsp;people through their dinner party and canapé menus, and nbsp; and nbsp;picnics, christenings, and nbsp;sporting events, Ascot, Glyndebourne and more, and nbsp; together with office lunches or 'at home' and nbsp;entertaining and the and nbsp; peak times such as the Summer season, Thanksgiving and Christmas are extremely busy. And nbsp; and nbsp; It is important that you are neat, tidy and well presented and have great people skills. We have a lovely reputation for excellent service and old fashioned courtesy. And nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Fun young team who all work hard and support each other in busy periods. This is a full time, properly paid position and nbsp;for start as soon as possible and nbsp; The hours are daytime only Monday - Friday and nbsp;9.30am-6.30pm and one Saturday a month. 9am -5pm Please check out our website HERE and nbsp;to see what we do.
