The job :

We are currently looking for creative, enthusiastic and reliable retail assistants for our outlets in Borough Market.

We are hiring for multiple vacancies (full time and part time) and shift patterns (including weekend shifts) which will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities will include setting up the display in the outlet, selling and till operation, interacting with customers and advising them about our offering, cleaning, moving and replenishing stock etc.

Wages will start at £8 - £8.50 per hour based on experience with a pay increase after successfully completing the probation period.

Skills and experience required:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Turnips troop. The right person for the job will have/be :

- Enthusiastic, punctual, hard working and willing to go the extra mile.
- Fluent in English, well spoken and confident.
- A good understanding and passion of fresh produce including merchandise and displays.
- Artistic background would be beneficial but not essential.

experience of working in a similar role/sector would be beneficial (such as fruit and veg outlets, food industry etc)
