THE ROLE
We are recruiting a full-time Manager to work as part of the Hoi Polloi management team at Ace Shoreditch. The position would be perfect for someone who has experience managing within a high end, high cover, high customer expectation team.
ABOUT US
Hoi Polloi is a big modern brasserie in Ace Hotel, Shoreditch, open from 7 am ‘till supper with an all day democratic menu which rolls through from breakfast, lunch to afternoon tea and dinner.
ABOUT YOU
We love service without the fuss but gold-plated with correctness. You should be customer orientated, love a tightly structured operation whilst caring passionately about people. Training should be at the heart of everything you do. You should be interested in and have knowledge of food and drink and have an understanding of the controls that underpin a successful restaurant.
THE DETAIL
This big operation means the role will touch many aspects of the business like nurturing the clientele, developing and training the team, building revenue and managing aspects of financial control. In addition to delivering busy services, you’ll need eyes in the back of your head and a keen eye for detail. You should enjoy working in a multi-layered operation where many parts weave together to form the bigger picture.
