Restaurant Manager Job in London

We are Arepa and Co, an independent and one of the most recognised Venezuelan Restaurants in London. We started our business as a market stall in Camden Market in 2010 and later we opened our first fixed location by the Regents Canal. We are now ready to open our second location due to popular demand, on the vibrant Paradise Row in Bethnal Green, and we are excited to be bringing our unique food offering to a new area in East London. As part of this adventure, we are looking for an extraordinary Restaurant Manager to help us open and launch our site and help us deliver a friendly, engaging and amazing restaurant experience.

This role is responsible for ensuring that:

Restaurant Operations are run smoothly and effectively at all times, following procedures and adhering to the highest Food and Safety standards and protocols.
Customer Service is exceptional at all times, ensuring the waiting and floor staff follows our customer service procedures at all times with enthusiasm, passion and friendliness.
Profitability of the business is effectively managed and monitored in a weekly basis, ensuring that all key performance indicators are kept within budget and expected performance levels.
Creating a High Performance Team Culture , where people are motivated, highly engaged and show their passion for what we do and the company.

The above responsibilities means that you have to carry out the following in a regular basis:

Weekly inventory and stock take reporting.
Prepare weekly rotas according to sales forecast.
Place, receive and log stock orders a few times a week.
Coordinate and monitor weekly cleaning plans and preventative maintenance.
Receive, allocate and manage restaurant bookings in a daily basis.
Recruit and train waiting and bar staff when required.

You will be also required to run shifts for a minimum of 35 hrs per week and work some evenings and weekends.
