The Victoria Inn in Peckham is a Gastropub and boutique hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to both our hotel guests and locals alike. Recently under new management both front and back of house, we are recruiting for a full time shift manager with restaurant or Gastropub experience to join our management team and help drive the business forward over the coming months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced junior manager to take a slightly more senior role and full support and training will be given to develop you into a senior role in the near future. We are part of MpCo, an excellent Gastropub company that operates all around London and the potential for development into a Deputy and then General Manager is high.
The role:
-Running breakfast, lunch and dinner services, supervising the team and using your customer service skills to help them deliver an excellent guest experience.
-Developing and adhering to standards in the restaurant space, leading by example and training junior staff in steps of service.
-Using your creativity and passion for food, drink and service to help plan and deliver exciting events throughout the year.
- Handling customer complaints and booking enquiries for both the venue and hotel with a helpful, calm attitude and an excellent face to face, email and telephone manner.
At least one year’s experience in restaurants or food led pub venues in a similar role is essential, B and B;/hotel experience is preferred but training will be provided.
