Due to further expansion, we require a Reservations/Sales Administrator to help manage our busy office and provide friendly and reliable sales and reservations assistance to our clients and guests. These tasks vary from answering the phones and organising guests’ stays to dealing with client requests and finalising billing and accounts information. As there is a lot of client contact with the job, we expect you to promote yourself and City Apartments with great pride and in a positive light through your daily routine, with the mutual benefit of building on guest and client relationships. If you are right for the job then we are sure this will all come naturally!
Qualities required:
• Have excellent written and spoken English
• Be bright, positive and enthusiastic with a real ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ideally have previous receptionist/administration experience, though this is not essential.
• Be a self-starter, have strong initiative and an eye for detail.
• Enjoy administrative duties and be highly organised in their day to day activities
• Good computer literacy with basic programs such as Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc
• Possess a confident telephone manner and the ability to have effective conversations with our clients and guests is also crucial.
• Be an energetic and enthusiastic person who is currently in an administrative role, or perhaps someone who is looking for a new challenge and career path.
• An ability to think outside the box!
This is an exciting and demanding role in a small, growing company and there is great scope for development within the company for the right person. We’re looking for someone to add further value to the organisation and daily processes, which may include improving core competencies or inputting ideas into creative marketing schemes. Being a small company you will gain valuable experience in the day-to-day running of a small business, and provided the enthusiasm and willingness is there then the scope for self-development and learning is considerable. The role really can be what you make it!
