Temper is an exciting concept from celebrated chef Neil Rankin. We have already received wide praise in the national press for our unique approach to food, buzzing atmosphere and ground breaking wine list. We are now looking for an experienced reservations and reception manager to head up the team in our Soho restaurant.
The right applicant will need to communicate like no one else, be able to work seamlessly under pressure and maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times.

What are We are looking for in you?
-experience working in a similar role in a hospitality business
-Extensive experience using Opentable or a similar reservation management system
-A high level of written and spoken English is essential. You must also posses excellent communication skills and be able to adapt your communication style to suit a diverse range of colleagues and customers
-Immaculately presented at all times
-Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
What the role entails
-Overall management of the reservations team including Rota’s, shift structure and Human Resources requirements
-Lead negotiations alongside the general manager and head chef for events space
-Conduct site visits and entertain potential and existing clients using the opportunity to up sell and maximize event sales revenue
-Maintain and develop a strong account base, and strengthen client relationships in order to exceed revenue goals
-Ensure that the client database is kept up-to-date and accurate on Open Table and all systems used at all times
