Kyson’s is an award winning architectural practice based in London, Shoreditch with an enthusiastic team and a vibrant environment.
The Company is looking for a full-time Receptionist/ Office Junior to cover maternity position with immediate start until mid November.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager to support a busy architectural team. The candidate will need to have a friendly and confident personality, a smart appearance, good spoken and written communication skills, a polite and cooperative manner, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. An organised approach, a high level of initiative and confidence are paramount.
The right candidate will provide:
Outstanding telephone manners, answering and forwarding phone calls.
Sorting and distributing post
Arranging and managing office stationary and refreshments.
Meeting and greeting clients and offering them beverage,
Organising meeting rooms
Booking meeting
Effective diary management, running minutes for the manager directors.
Booking transport and travel
Managing office equipment such as photocopiers, telephone and general IT queries.
Managing couriers/deliveries
Keeping the office tidy
Liaising and managing the office cleaning services.
Basic clerical work
Maintaining existing filing systems and implement the current library’s computerized archive.
Monitoring and general maintenance of office Health and Safety.
General bookkeeping (Petty Cash reconciliations, Suppliers payment, Timesheets database)
Handling cash
Working closely with the Practice Manager to liaise with the project’ consultants.
Supporting the Practice Manager with marketing and events such as booking venues, dinner, invitations etc.
Must have at least one year of Office experience with GCSE qualifications particularly in English and Maths, A levels preferable.
Word and Excel skill essential.
First Aid Certificate and Fire training Certificate will be preferable but not essential.
