A small, but busy payroll bureau that is growing and therefore can offer someone the opportunity to grow with us and gain more responsibility with time.
We are looking to recruit a payroll administrator. The role is ideally suited to someone who is numerate, accurate, able to work to tight deadlines and willing to get involved in a range of tasks. As we are small, we expect the individual to take a hands-on approach and be willing to learn. However, we do not require the individual to have prior payroll experience as we will provide full training on employment.
The role will involve but will not be limited to the following: -
- Processing payroll in an accurate and efficient manner
- Managing auto enrolment processes for clients
- Answering the phone
- Interacting with clients and responding to client queries
- Assisting with ad hoc requests from senior management team
- Opportunity for career progression and salary increase after six months
Skills necessary: -
- Good with numbers
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
- Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to be hands on and flexible
Starting salary £16-18,000 depending on experience.
