Pastry Chef – Central Production

Eatbrit Enterprises LTD are a London based Food and Beverage Company that operates several restaurants and a large scale events business.
As a business we’re expanding and are looking to recruit an experienced pastry chef to work directly alongside the Executive Chef and Head Chef within a newly built and modern equipped central production kitchen based in Central London producing pastry for all of our brands and venues.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in events or banqueting as well as fine-dining restaurant experience.
He or she must be familiar with the current food trends within the restaurant and event catering and also be up to date and experienced with modern food techniques and cooking.
The candidate must also want to strive for perfection.
This is a great role for an experienced pastry chef, who with the right development, will also be hungry for the next step up within the near future and eager to build a great reputation within the catering industry.
This role is a full-time position offering an excellent career development and prospects, great rate of pay and benefits.
The role is mainly day time hours; however some flexibility for weekend and evening work will be required.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to deliver and high volume event food whilst maintaining excellence of quality within the pastry section.
experience of large volume functions and weddings.
To follow and implement company H and S; Policies and maintain general cleanliness of the Kitchen.
Through a hands on approach, maintain and improve standard of production.
Maintain and improve standards of service and operating standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
Working alongside the Executive Chef and Head Chef on implementing seasonal menu changes across all the brands.
Key Skills:
· Must come from a pastry background using fresh ingredients.
· Creative and innovative
· Passionate about quality
· Calm under pressure with excellent time management.
· experience in a high-volume environment.
· Self-motivated and hard working.
· Well presented, enthusiastic and passionate.
