The Morton Scott Pub Company is a successful family company based in Covent Garden, London. After a great 2022 we are looking to strengthen our upper management team with the appointment of an assistant to support the Operations Director.

As this is a new position within our company it means the role with evolve with training and hands on experience. The role of the Operations Assistant will be to ultimately assist and support the Operations Director in the day to day running of the business. Administration duties and team training will all form part of the role. Another major responsibility will be relief of our House Managers when they are on annual leave. Overall, this job will be varied and well-rounded so previous experience within the pub or hospitality industry is preferred. However, as full on-the-job training will be given we are willing to compromise previous experience for the candidate we feel most suited, who shows the right personality and skill set.
We are searching for someone who has a passion for the hospitality industry, is honest and assertive. It is essential they have strong communication skills, common sense and work well within a team. Above all, we are looking for someone with a big smile, who is friendly and enthusiastic.
It will be full time and permanent. The starting salary for this position will be £23,000 a year with a review to follow after 12 months. There will also be a possibility of live-in accommodation after a 6 month review has taken place.

The position is for an immediate start so you must be available for an interview and provide evidence of your eligibility to work legally in the UK.
