JOB TITLE: OFFICE MANAGER

DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Construction company based in Kensington.
We specialise in High-End Property Renovations, covering all of London.
We are seeking an experienced Office manager with bookkeeping skills who has prior experience in business processes. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, with a must do attitude towards daily tasks and running of a busy construction company. You will be a key player whose vital role is the glue that pulls everything together.
Hours of work will be: Mon – Fri, 08:00 – 17:00
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Respond to emails on behalf of the company or Directors, as directed by Directors or Project managers
· Prepare project valuations in excel (as drafted by PM) and follow up with invoice, once certified by Architects
· Paying staff, Subcontractors and Suppliers
· Helping with recruitment processes.
· General bookkeeping
· Updating Director's 'Buy to Let' (BTL) portfolio and assisting with bookkeeping
· Assisting/responding to Estate/Managing Agents regarding various BTL property maintenance and admin enquiries
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assisting with various Marketing aspects (i.e. Updating website, social media, magazines, brochures, etc.)
· Researching.
· Respond to tender invitations.
· Managing and updating sub-contractors’ details, ready to be send to Accountants.
· Keeping and updating Staff and sub-contractors 'time sheets'.
· Ordering supplies
· Assist the Directors as necessary and other duties, as are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose and title of the post
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
ESSENTIAL
· A desire to join the business for the long term
· Well organised with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
· Strong communication skills
· Flexible in approach
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Understanding and knowledge of marketing a business
· Numerate to GCSE standard, or above
· Literacy/English to GCSE standard, or above
DESIRABLE
· Knowledge of construction, building trade or Architectural Practice
· experience of working in a small office environment
· Proven experience in a similar role
