Night Receptionist
Required for a busy 88 bedroom hotel in Finchley, North London which caters for business and leisure clients throughout the year.
Your duties will entail
Handles aspects of all guest arrivals, check-in and departure in line with the Ramada brand standards
Be the first point of contact to welcome our guests, able to handle guest queries and ensure they are dealt with in a professional manner
Handles cash, credit card and account payments, banking, float and safe reconciliation in accordance with company standards, ensuring that there are no discrepancies and whenever there are, report them accordingly
Assist and manage the running of the Night Audit using Opera Lite PMS
Deal with reservations, reservation checks and preparation, e-mails and other administrative tasks
Be responsible for ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly on a nightly basis and that cleaning duties are completed to the correct standard
Act as a Fire Officer when on duty and ensure security of the building
Ideally you will have;
Relevant experience in a similar role although we welcome applications from candidates with differing experience who can demonstrate they have the skill set we are seeking.
An engaging customer focused manner and be professional in your dealings with our clients
Be a team player
Be organized, self motivated and able to work under pressure
Be reliable, punctual and well presented
Good communication skills,
Be a “night owl” and able to work 5 days out of 7 on a roster basis
