Night Porter,
are you passionate about the hotel industry and do not mind working night? This job is for you. FULL TIME POSITION - 32 to 40 hrs
* Shifts = Nights, some bar/late shifts will be required
* Any days of the week including weekends and bank holidays
Minimum Wage applies. IMMEDIATE START, Training will be provided
Job description:
*Reception duties, including checking in and out of guests, answering telephone, making reservations and dealing with queries and enquiries
*Cash handling including float counting and banking in compliance with brand standards
*Communicate any changes to room status throughout the day with housekeeping
*Bar duties, replenishing of stocks, serving guests, cleaning tables and washing glasses
*CONFERENCE SET UP's over night or evening
*Breakfast set up, including baking
*Completion of tasks as designated per shift
*Coverage of shift as scheduled on the weekly roster i.e. Late/night
*Have good knowledge of your local area
CONFERENCE SET UP's over night or evening = We have a Banqueting suite which can hold up to 200 people and does require setting up before and after the event - it involves heavy lifting!
Job Requirements:
-Minimum 6 months experience in the Hotel/Hospitality Industry
-Individual with the passion to deliver great customer service
-Hotel experience will be an advantage
-Knowledge of Opera / Brilliant PMS systems
-Must speak fluent English, other languare will be an advantage
