A happy and motivated Venue Manager is needed to join us at Brickwood Café.

Brickwood Coffee and Bread is a multi-award winning café concept on the front line of London’s evolving coffee and brunch scene with a massive focus on coffee and quality brunch.

Our cafés take inspiration from the bustling neighborhood cafe scene in Australia and New Zealand where quality brunch and coffee is our focus, combining that comfy neighborhood feel with great music and laid back full table service.

We are now looking for a passionate, energetic and fun loving individual to lead and manage the team at one of our South London Venues.

The cafe is very busy, especially on weekends and we seek someone who really thrives in this environment and understands busy coffee culture and neighbourhood customer service. Solid restaurant experience a huge advantage.

The venue manager’s role is to oversee the day to day running of the café and maintain the Brickwood vibe, working hands on and leading by example with the floor team, chefs and baristas in delivering a high standard of consistency while maintaining targets, budgets and stock margins as well as due diligence, health and safety and never forgetting outstanding customer service.

You should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar café / restaurant environment at manager level and must have solid barista experience with Sleek latte art.

You must also be a natural ‘people person’ with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate those around you with your can-do attitude.

You will be enthusiastic, naturally friendly, and presentable and have a good level of written and spoken English.

Great rates of pay apply as well as cash tips and amazing bonus structure paid weekly.
Basic computer skills required, Fourth Hospitality experience an advantage.
Operational times 7am to 6pm Mon-Fri / 9pm-6pm Weekends (No Nights)
