Urban Youth is a new community youth project that aims to accompany young people through adolescence. We want to help young people to reach their full potential, grow up safe and healthy, be part of society and be good Neighbours. We want young people to achieve their dreams but if they don't, we want them to be able to reflect positively on what's happened and learn from it and be able to grow and expand their horizons.
We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Manager to lead the organisation in an exciting period in our start up journey.
The Manager’s purpose at Urban Youth Project is to ensure the smooth running and day-to-day management of the organisation, to manage our evolution, to lead the development of quality youth work and to improve Urban Youth’s financial resilience and sustainability.
This post will include:
• Strategic planning
• Income generation
• Fundraising
• Project management
• Delivery and evaluation of youth work
The Manager will lead a small team of youth work volunteers based in Southwark SE1.
If you are a qualified youth worker with project management expertise and a passion for empowering young people, we would love to hear from you. Strategic planning, fundraising and business development are all key aspects of this role, so we are looking for strong demonstrable skills in these areas.
