We are looking for people who consider themselves professionals in hospitality and therefore have a professional attitude towards the job. Someone with good experience of working with the public, as part of a team (but with the capacity to think for themselves) work well in potentially stressful situations and problem solve under pressure.
Duties
Must be able to work mornings through to lunch and weekends.
Opening/setting up and closing the restaurant.
Meeting and greeting customers, taking orders,
experience of doing a cafe style counter service.
Making/serving drinks including serving wine to the table.
Good barista experience essential
Some cocktail/bar experience essential
Serving food working on the pass with the chef to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Answering the phone and taking orders for collection.
Generally ensuring a room full of happy people.
Adhering to food hygiene and food safety regulations in terms of appearance, practice and discipline.

Qualities and skills
A friendly and positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills.
experience of working with the public in a hospitality environment.
experience working on a simple pos system.
Reliable and with a good sense of organization.
Capacity to adapt and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Great level of English.
Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Loven is an independent local Tottenham business with 2 spaces, one in Hale Village and one close to Seven Sisters tube station. We have been operating in the area for 4 years and opened our ‘Loven Bakery’ space in December 2021. We are English/Italian partnership with a team from all over the world.
