Location: Shenley - Hertfordshire
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start date: as soon as possible
Hours: Tuesday to Friday with half days Saturday and Monday
Live In: Bedroom, own bathroom and dressing room plus small kitchen off main kitchen
Child friendly Live-in Housekeeper required by a lovely family for general housekeeping duties, wardrobe management, occasional childcare of the youngest and occasional babysitting in the evenings for three young children.
You will clean the modern five bedroom property to a high standard and do the laundry and family ironing. Any cooking skills are a bonus (healthy, balanced meals) for the children but helping with meal and snack preparation will be sufficient.
You will also help get school uniforms ready and ideally accompany the family on holiday during the summer. The family have a small friendly dog but you will not have any pet care responsibilities.
This is a busy, fun and sociable household and the family are looking for someone who will ‘Muck in’ and stay long term.
Requirements:
• 3 + years Private household experience
in a similar role
• Organised and self-motivated
• Pleasant personality
• Good spoken and written English
• Child-friendly and
Pet-friendly
• Clean DBS check or willing to have one undertaken
• Driver not required
• Non-smoker
• Good Checkable references
• Travel abroad with the family during the summer ideal but not essential
